It has been appeared from the words of our new DGA P&T that he is thinking for enhancement of the tenure of outstation postings of Sr AOs/ AOs from the existing 2 years to 3 or 5 years.
Comments on the above are invited from the members of our association. On the basis of your oppenion the association will take up the matter with DGA P&T and C&AG.

ReplyDeleteWhether this will be implemented for all the AOs/SAOs in P&T Audit irrespective of whether they work in their parent office or not? Whether this will be a policy and be kept in writing? Let the Association take up the matter in high tempo and why not deliberate with reference to the policy that is existing in Commercial. Those who are posted outside are now normally returning to their parent office after 2 years and in majority cases it is more than 3 years. Those who have been posted out very recently may not go back to their parent office within 5 years. Hence the proposal of enhancing the outstation tenure is meaningless and it will definitely demoralise the enthusiasm of officers. I hope all the officers will definitely oppose the move of DGA P&T.
